We think they deserve the very best beef. So our burgers are made from prime cuts of grass-fed Aberdeen Angus Beef. From steak cuts and roasting joints like Topside, Silverside, Brisket and Rump.


Not from the last unwanted scraps rejected by quality butchers. And we don’t use breadcrumbs or rusk to fill them out - just a little egg binding and some delicate seasoning.


We think burgers should be liberated from the floury bap, from the tyranny of sticky ketchup and greasy fries.

From the beginning, we’ve been working with Roland’s Dad, John, (an award-winning breeder and former president of the Aberdeen Angus Society) to get an in-depth understanding of what makes the best ever beef for our burgers.

Together with other farming and nutrition experts, we’ve developed a ground-breaking ‘boot-print’ for our beef - a list of criteria that ensures our beef is 100% ethically-raised and traceable from respected farmers we get to know personally.

If a farmer can’t step into our ‘boot-print’, then we don’t go there!
